Santa Clara, CA, September 8, 2009 Cell Biosciences, Inc. today announced that it has completed its acquisition of Alpha Innotech Corp. (OTC BB: APNO.OB). The stockholders of Alpha Innotech have approved the transaction, and all regulatory and other conditions have been satisfied. Pursuant to the merger agreement announced on September 8, 2009, former Alpha Innotech stockholders will receive $1.50 per share, or approximately $17.9 million in cash.

模擬缺鐵，促進(jìn)糖代謝

      蒙特利爾大學(xué)的生物化學(xué)教授Stephen Michnick帶領(lǐng)團(tuán)隊(duì)開發(fā)了一種新技術(shù)——hdPCA，能夠以非侵入性的廉價(jià)方式，快速預(yù)測和確認(rèn)藥物是如何影響細(xì)胞的。

       他們發(fā)現(xiàn)，二甲雙胍對于細(xì)胞內(nèi)鐵的分布有著***的影響，進(jìn)而導(dǎo)致基本的生化過程發(fā)生變化。早前已有研究表明鐵代謝和糖尿病之間存在關(guān)聯(lián)，但是卻沒有直接的證據(jù)?；?**新的發(fā)現(xiàn)，研究人員推測，二甲雙胍引發(fā)的葡萄糖代謝可能依賴于模擬缺鐵引發(fā)的化學(xué)反應(yīng)。

除了影響腸道菌群，來自西北大學(xué)的Navdeep Chandel教授曾證實(shí)，二甲雙胍可以減緩線粒體代謝，進(jìn)而阻止癌癥的生長。
