血糖儀主要用來測量動物和人的血糖濃度，使用試紙，方便快捷。

血糖儀的主要特點：

快速檢測：儀器每次檢測僅需要5秒鐘；
檢測操作簡單：檢測中不需要按鍵。將試紙插入儀器中能直接開啟機器，把血樣滴加在試紙上，讀取數(shù)值，然后從儀器中將試紙取出；
血量查看：進行檢測時血糖儀需要1～2ul的血液。如果血量不夠，儀器可檢出并提醒；
標記結(jié)果：您可以使用不同標志標記結(jié)果，標志標明檢測中特定狀態(tài)；
存儲器：儀器最多儲存帶有時間及日期的350個結(jié)果及其他重要的檢測信息；
綜合數(shù)據(jù)分析：通過您儲存的檢測結(jié)果，儀器可計算單個個體最近的7、14或30天的平均血糖值；
數(shù)據(jù)傳輸：儀器具有紅外端口可使您下載儲存的檢測結(jié)果至一臺計算機；
機外采血：當儀器提示您滴加血液時，您可從儀器中移除試紙，滴加血液后，重新將試紙插回至儀器中；
