overthepastyears,electronicnosetechnologyopenedthepossibilitytoexploitinformationonaromaattributetoassessfruitripeninstageduringstorage.theob-jectiveinthisstudywastoevaluatethecapacityofelectronicnoseinmonitoringthechangeinvolatiproductionofmandarinduringdifferentstoragetreatments,andstorageshelf-lifeofmandarinwasevaluatedbymeasuringthechangeivolatileproductionofmandarinusingelectronicnosedevicepen2.bycomparing,storageshelf-lifeofmandarinwasbettdistinguishedusinglineardiscriminantanalysisldathanprincipalcomponentanalysispca.pcaandldaanalysiswerefcienttoclassifymandarinwiththesamestoragetimeinitsrespectivegroups;butthemethodsarenotefcienttoseparatethmandarinsbydifferentstoragetimes.thecorrelationbetweenthemeasuredandpredictedvaluesoffruitqualityattributesuchasolublesolidcontent,acidityandcompressionforceshowspoortoreasonablepredictionperformancebymeansofelectronicnossignals.theresultsprovethatsensors2,7and9intheelectronicnosepen2formandarinhaveahigherinuenceinthecurrentpatterle.hence,nearlyasubsetoffewsensorscanbechosentoexplainallthevariance.thisresultcouldbeusedinfurtherstudiestooptimizthenumberofsensorsandndbetterperformance.

- AninvestigationwasmadetoevaluatethecapacityofanelectronicnoseE-nose,PEN2toclassifytheteaqualitygrade.FourteagroupsA120,A280,A380andA600withadifferentqualitygradewereemployed.Intheexperiment,thevolumeofvialandtheheadspacegeneratedtimewereconsideredcorrespondingtothe5gteasamples,andtheoptimumexperimentalprocedurewasdeterminedbyusingthevarianceanalysisANOVA,multivarianceanalysisandprinciplecomponentsanalysisPCA.Theresultsshowedthatthevolumeofvialaffectedtheresultofdiscrimination,andtheheadspacegeneratedtimehadnosigni?canteffectontheE-noseresponse.ThefourteagroupsweremeasuredandresponsevaluesatfourdifferentcollectiontimeswereconductedbyPCA,lineardiscriminationanalysisLDAandarti?cialneuralnetworkANN.OnlyA120,A380andA600couldbediscriminatedbyPCA.However,thefourteagroupswerediscriminatedcompletelybyLDA.TheresponsevalueoftheE-noseat60swasoptimumtobeusedfordiscrimination.ThemethodofANNnetworktopology20-12-4wasperformedand90%oftheotalteasampleswereclassi?edcorrectlybyusingtheback-propagationneuralnetwork.?2006ElsevierB.V.Allrightsreserved.[詳細(xì)]

Discrimina ion of Storage Time for Pork Using Metal Oxide Semiconductor (MOS)-Type E-Nose
- Aninvestigationwasconductedtoevaluatethecapacityofanelectronicmetaloxidesemiconductor(MOS)-typenose(e-nose)toclassifyporksampleswithdifferentstoragetimes(06d).Theeffectsoftheheadspace-generationtimeandporksamplemassontheresponseofthee-nosewerestudiedusingmultivariateanalysisofvarianceandonewayanalysisofvariance,respectively.Theresultsshowedthattheporksamplemasshadthemostsignificanteffectonthee-nosesensorresponse,followedbytheheadspacegenerationtime.Theoptimumparameterswere10gofsamplemasswith5minofheadspace-generationtimeina500mLvial.Aftereitherprincipalcomponentanalysisorlineardiscriminantanalysis,theresultsshowedthatthee-nosewiththeoptimumparameterscanaccuratelyclassifytheporksamplesstoredfor06d.Amethodusingabackpropagationneuralnetworkwasalsoperformed,and91.43%ofthepredictionset(with92.86%ofthetrainingset)wasclassifiedcorrectlyusingthismodel.[詳細(xì)]
